​On July 9, 2020, at the Mira Central Park Hotel, DPPC held a refresher course on updating knowledge about people-to-people diplomacy affairs and foreign non-governmental affairs in 2020. Attending the course were 250 representatives of  provincial departments, sectors, districts, cities and provincial friendship associations.

Delivering his speech at the opening, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri – Chairman of the DUFO emphasized that the refresher course was a practical activity in order to continue to improve the effectiveness of the people-to-people diplomacy and foreign non-governmental affairs in the province in the coming time.

The refresher took place for 01 day with 02 topics: Ms. Nguyen Phuong Nga - President of the VUFO presented the contents of Directive 38-CT/TW dated September 19, 2019 by the Secretariat on continuing to renovate, promote the role and improve its quality and effectiveness of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in the new situation and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - Head of the People's Aid Coordinating Committee, VUFO presented the topic on innovations and solutions to implement the program of strengthening cooperation and mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid for the 2020-2025 period.
