- Carrying out the work related to personnel organization, emulation, commendation and discipline for civil servants and employees of the Department.

- Performing the work of summary report - planning, finance - accounting, administrative management, fire protection.

- Performing the role as a spokesman of the Department and providing information to the press as prescribed.

- Implementing the work of administrative reforms, ISO - Public administration, information technology and computerization.

- Performing the work of protecting State secrets, clerical duty and managing and archiving official dispatches and documents.

- Carrying out propaganda, dissemination and education on law, reviewing and formulating regulations of the sector.

- Setting up a plan and organizing the implementation of the thematic report "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example"; controlling on work of militia and self-defense, state management of youth, State mass mobilization, democracy regulations applied in Department.

- Performing other duties as directed by the Board of Directors.
