​On July 8, 2020, at the Office of Moc Bai Border Control Station, Tay Ninh Province, implementing the direction of the DPPC, a delegation of the External Relations Department led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang – its Deputy Director offered VND200 million to the Vietnamese Embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia to support Vietnamese Cambodians in preventing and fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Deputy Director of the Department of External Relations also conveyed best wishes of the Party and the Government of Dong Nai Province to the Vietnamese Cambodian community with a hope that they would overcome difficulties soon and stabilize their lives in the coming time.

On behalf of the Embassy and overseas Vietnamese, Mr. Vo Tuan Ngoc - Counselor, the Embassy of Vietnam in Cambodia expressed his sincere and deep thanks to the Party Committee, the Government and leaders of Dong Nai Province for their meaningful support to Vietnamese people in difficult circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Counselor said that this financial support had material and spiritual meaning to help Vietnamese Cambodians feel secure and stabilize their lives.
