​​On January 30, 2020, at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Chairman of the PPC and representatives of relevant departments and agencies received the Delegation of GimHae City, Gyeongnam Province (the Republic of Korea) led by its Mayor – Mr. Heo Seong Gon paying a courtesy visit to the provincial leaders on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020.

At the meeting, Mr. Cao Tien Dung – Chairman of PPC highly appreciated the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Korea in general as well as the relationship between Dong Nai and Gyeongnam in particular. Bien Hoa City People's Committee and GimHae City Government signed the Memorandum of Agreement in 1995 and the Document establishing friendship relations, enhancing exchanges in various fields between the two cities including economic, industrial, cultural, educational, and administrative in 1996. It was expected that the two sides would practically and effectively enhance in 2020.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, Mr. Heo Seong Gon – Mayor of GimHae City wished the leaders of Dong Nai Province a Happy New Year. GimHae’s Mayor hoped that the traditional friendly relationship, special solidarity and cooperation for development over the past 24 years between Dong Nai and Gyeongnam in general, between Bien Hoa City and GimHae in particular would continue to be maintained and developed. On this occasion, the Mayor’s of GimHae City invited Bien Hoa City Delegation to visit GimHae in April 2020.
