​On March 27, 2024, at the Golden Lotus Event Center, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province held its second Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the Congress were Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association; Mr. Wei Huaxiang - Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City. On the Dong Nai Province side, there were delegates: Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Trung Nhan - Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Xuan Ha – Head of Propaganda and Training Commission of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Cao Van Quang - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province; Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hang - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Son Hung - Vice Chairman of the DPPC and representatives of the provincial departments and sectors.

Delivering his speech at the Congress, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son highly appreciated the efforts of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of the province in the process of building and promoting its role as a bridge for peace work, solidarity and friendship.

During the Congress program, 150 official delegates elected the Association's Executive Committee for a new term with 20 members. Among them, Mr. Tran Trung Nhan - Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee was elected as the Chairman of the Association. On this occasion, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association, DPPC and the DUFO rewarded individuals and collectives with outstanding contributions to the Association's activities for the 2018-2023 term.
