​On the morning of March 16, 2024, in Gia Canh Commune, Dinh Quan district, the Provincial Ethnic Committee and People's Committee of Dinh Quan district held a handover ceremony of 02 friendship houses to ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances, funded by Les Enfant Du Dragon (LEDD-France). Attending the Ceremony were Mr. Tho Ut - Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, Mr. Richard Jean-Jacques - Representative of LEDD organization.

The 02 friendship houses are among the 43 houses that LEDD organization has coordinated with the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations (DUFO) to deploy in recent times. In addition, LEDD organization also carries out many humanitarian and social aid programs and projects in Dong Nai Province such as: building 04 water wells, 03 water filtration plants, 20 water tanks; repairing medical stations; giving poor and difficult students in the province more than 50 new bicycles, hundreds of scholarships and new clothes.

Delivering his speech at the handover Ceremony, Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee Mr. Tho Ut expressed his thanks to LEDD organization for continuing to support the construction of 02 houses for ethnic minorities in Gia Canh commune. The support of LEDD organization has contributed to improving the quality of people's lives. On this occasion, Mr. Richard Jean-Jacques - Representative of LEDD organization came to survey 10 ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances in Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts to prepare for implementing the project “Support 10 ethnic minority households still have difficulty stabilizing their lives in the 2024-2026 period”.
