​From April 18 to April 22, 2023, Deputy Director of the Department of External Relations Tran Quoc Toan joined the Delegation of officials, doctors and nurses of Dong Nai Province led by Colonel Nguyen Van Dung - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command visited, provided free medical examination and medicine to more than 800 disadvantaged people in Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom provinces, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The medical team consisting of 30 members of various specialties had conducted general surgery, ultrasound, oral maxillofacial, ear- nose - throat, dermatological, cardiovascular, rheumatological, gastrointestinal examination... provided dree medicine and presented over 800 gifts for people in difficult circumstances (each gift is worth VND 300,000, free medicine is worth over VND100,000/set).

In addition, the Delegation had coordinated with the locality to send a team of doctors and nurses to directly examine and provide medicine for sick and difficult elderly cases. This is one of the activities to show the affection of the Government and people of Vietnam in general and Dong Nai Province in particular to overseas Vietnamese as well as Cambodians, continuing to create undissolvable solidarity between the two peoples, army and people of Vietnam and Cambodia.
