On July 29, 2021, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs held a webinar on guiding to make a Plan to realize the goals laid out by the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) (referred to as Project 161) for the period of 2021-2025. Attending the webinar were Mr. Le Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Kung Phoak - Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN and leaders of ministries, sectors related to the project implementation. From Dong Nai Province point, attending the webinar were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Oanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs and representatives of the departments of Home Affairs, External Relations, Health, Natural Resources and Environment and relevant agencies.
At the webinar, the participants listened to the sharing of the ASEAN Secretariat on the Regional report on the implementation of the goals of the ASCC 2025 and the priorities of ASEAN for the period of 2021-2025; ASEAN's efforts in COVID-19 prevention and control and the "ASEAN Healthcare Area Outlook". In addition, representatives of ministries and sectors shared topics related to ASEAN cooperation in specialized fields and national priority programs/activities. At the same time, ministries, sectors and localities discussed to find ways to solve difficult problems and obstacles in the implementation process.

In Dong Nai Province, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units according to the guidance of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the actual situation of the province to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Project 161 implementation plan for the period of 2021-2025 ensuring quality and efficiency.
