Welcoming the delegation were the following comrades: Vu Hong Van, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee; representatives of Dong Nai provincial agencies and units; and leaders of 8 border communes of Dong Nai province.
The delegation from the six provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia included Members of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP): His Excellency Va Thon, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Kratie Province, Governor of Kratie Province; His Excellency Pen Kosal, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Tboung Khmum Province, Governor of Tboung Khmum Province; His Excellency Thong Savun, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Mondulkiri Province, Governor of Mondulkiri Province; His Excellency Nguon Rattanak, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Kampong Thom Province, Governor of Kampong Thom Province; His Excellency Un Chanda, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Kampong Cham Province, Governor of Kampong Cham Province; and His Excellency Men Kung, Deputy Governor of Stung Treng Province; along with representatives of the military and police forces of the provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
At the reception, the leaders of Dong Nai province expressed their pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the six provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia to visit and offer greetings for the traditional Lunar New Year of the Vietnamese people. Throughout the reception, the spirit of "Good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability" was highly upheld. The leadership of Dong Nai province affirmed that the sentiment and responsibility to cultivate relationships with Cambodian localities remain a top priority.
On behalf of the six Cambodian provinces, His Excellency Va Thon, Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Kratie Province, Governor of Kratie Province, extended Binh Ngo New Year wishes to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai province. His Excellency Va Thon specifically congratulated Comrades Vu Hong Van and Ton Ngoc Hanh on being elected with high confidence to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; congratulated Comrade Nguyen Van Ut on being mobilized by the Central Authority to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province; and wished the leaders of Dong Nai province continued success and many achievements in their tenure.
