​On the afternoon of October 23, 2023, Dong Nai University received 04 students from Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia to study Vietnamese. This is the second time in this year that students of Kampong Thom Province were received in the province. Attending the reception ceremony were Mr. Le Anh Duc - Principal of Dong Nai University, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - Deputy Director of the Department of External Relations and departments, units of Dong Nai University and students from Kampong Thom.

Delivering his speech to welcome students from Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia, Principal of Dong Nai University Le Anh Duc said that in addition to the training program, Dong Nai University would create the best conditions for students to participate in cultural exchange programs with Vietnamese and Lao students. Deputy Chief of Kampong Thom Provincial Office Jin Bun Sath expressed his thanks to Dong Nai Province for creating favorable conditions for students of Kampong Thom Province to study; At the same time, he advised students to try their best to study, comply with school regulations, enhance cultural exchanges, preserve and develop the traditional friendly relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

At the reception, Deputy Director of the Department of External Relations Nguyen Viet Thang affirmed that Dong Nai Province paid attention to support the training of international students, including Cambodian students. Each year Dong Nai province supports 10 scholarships for Champasak Province, Laos and 10 scholarships for Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia. The province has also adjusted the Regulations on management of Lao and Cambodian students studying to support and create convenient for students in the learning process.
