​On the morning of September 15, 2023, at Mobifone Dong Nai, the DPPC and the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry - Ministry of Information and Communications organized the Information Technology Development Workshop “Vietnam International Digital Hub” in Dong Nai Province. Attending the workshop were Vice-Chairman of the DPPC Nguyen Son Hung, leaders of relevant departments and sectors; Mr. Nguyen Thien Nghia, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry; representatives of enterprises and investors.

At the workshop, delegates presented Dong Nai's potential and advantages in developing the fields of information technology (IT), electronics, software, IoT, and AI. Mr. Nguyen Thien Nghia - Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry, gave a general introduction to Vietnam's IT industry as well as the advantages and strengths of the Southeast region in general and Dong Nai in particular in applying Digital HUB. According to experts, Dong Nai has many large industrial zones, attracting domestic and foreign investment. This is a strong foundation for attracting information technology enterprises and related services, creating favorable conditions for the development of the information technology industry and digital infrastructure.

The workshop is an opportunity to meet and exchange between provincial leaders, leaders of departments and sectors with representatives of enterprises and investors to contribute ideas for planning and orientation for the development of the information technology industry in the provincial general planning.
