​On the morning of September 8, 2023, at the Headquarters of Dong Nai Province People's Committee (DPPC), Vice-Chairman of the DPPC Nguyen Son Hung received the Japan - Vietnam Cuisine Association (JVGA) Delegation and 18 Japanese students led by Mr. Matsuo Tomoyuki - President of JVGA. Attending the meeting were Deputy Director of the External Relations Department Tran Quoc Toan and representatives of Departments and sectors: Agriculture and Rural Development; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Planning and Investment; Dong Nai Industrial Zone Authority and Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the DPPC Nguyen Son Hung informed about the provincial socio-economic situation. Japan currently has 272 projects with a total investment capital of USD5.59 billion, ranking third among foreign investors in the province. At the same time, the Vice-Chairman of the DPPC emphasized that Dong Nai Province would organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in September 2023. Provincial leaders also introduced to the Delegation some famous landscapes, tourist attractions, culture and agricultural products of Dong Nai and hoped the Delegation would have interesting experiences during the trip in the province.

President of the JVGA - Matsuo Tomoyuki hoped to connect with Dong Nai Province so that young Japanese generations can have experiences to develop career opportunities, while spreading image promotion., cuisine, culture, the people of Dong Nai in particular and Vietnam in general.
