​On the morning of August 28, 2023, at Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee received Delegation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Shin Choong Il – New Consul General paying a courtesy visit to the provincial leaders. Attending the meeting were Acting Chairman of DPPC Vo Tan Duc, Director of the External Relations Department Dang Thanh Thuy and representatives of relevant departments and sectors.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee informed the Delegation about the socio-economic situation of Dong Nai Province. Regarding attracting foreign investment, currently in Dong Nai Province there are 422 projects of Korean investors with a total capital of USD7.23 billion, leading in number of projects and total investment capital. The projects operate quite stably, making many contributions to the local budget and creating jobs for more than 171,000 workers.

New Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City Shin Choong Il thanked the Dong Nai Provincial Government for always concerning and accompanying in supporting Korean enterprises and people living in the province to overcome difficulties and restore production during and after the pandemic. The Consul General affirmed that he would be a bridge to actively support Dong Nai Province in connecting with other localities of Korea, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between the two sides.
