​On August 30, 2021, State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, the Department of External Relations of Dong Nai Province and that of Tien Giang Province held webinar under the theme: “Practical experience in treating Covid-19 patients in the United States – Establishing a group of doctors to offer remote advice to F0 in Dong Nai and Tien Giang” with 2 bridge points in Vietnam (including 4 bridge points in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Tien Giang) and overseas experts in the United States. This is the third webinar organized by the State Committee on Overseas Vietnamese with overseas experts in Vietnam.

From Dong Nai point were Mr. Tran Quoc Toan – Deputy Director of External Relations Department and Mr. Le Quang Trung - Deputy Director of the Health Department and doctors at medical examination and treatment facilities in the province.

At the webinar, overseas Vietnamese doctors and experts shared their experiences in fighting against the pandemic in countries, made recommendations and proposed anti-epidemic solutions suitable to the current situation of Vietnam, especially proposing the establishment of a group of American expatriates to offer remote advice to F0 at home in Dong Nai and Tien Giang provinces to help reduce the burden of the health sector during the treatment process for patients infected with COVID-19. Also at the webinar, the doctors exchanged and discussed many issues related to the treatment of COVID-19, especially the use of drugs for each patient, the treatment process of COVID-19.
