​On the afternoon of November 6, 2023, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh received the Delegation from the Montgomery County in Maryland State of the US and the Vietnam - American Business Council (VABC) led by Mr. Marc Erlich - Montgomery County Executive. Participating in the meeting were Acting Chairman of the DPPC Vo Tan Duc and leaders of related departments and sectors.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh informed the Delegation about the socio-economic situation of Dong Nai Province. Currently, in Dong Nai Province, there are 45 countries and territories investing with a total of 1,594 projects, total registered capital reaching 34.07 billion USD, of which, US firms are operating 30 projects in the locality with a total capital of over 268 million USD, the investment fields are mainly in the processing and manufacturing technology industry...

Mr. Marc Erlich - Montgomery County Executive, Maryland State informed that Montgomery has the third largest biological center in the US, had many strengths in the development of high technology, biotechnology and information technology, ranked 2nd in the US in terms of number of PhDs and the America's leading medical center was also located in Montgomery.... The purpose of the Delegation's visit was to seek cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese enterprises in general and enterprises of Dong Nai Province in particular.
