​On the morning of June 10, 2020, a conference on planning refractive unit deployment was held at Dong Nai General Hospital. Attending the conference were representatives of Department of Health, Dong Nai General Hospital, Department of External Relations, DUFO, Education and Training Chamber of Bien Hoa city, Orbis Organization (U.S.), representatives of Thua Thien Hue Department of Health and Phu Vang District Health Center, Thua Thien Hue Province.

At the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong - Director of Orbis Vietnam introduced an overview of the project and its implementation activities in the coming time. Delegates from Thua Thien Hue Province shared experiences about the refractive unit model and eye disease screening model in schools and communities, which had been successfully implemented in Phu Vang district.

Leaders of related agencies as well as Orbis Organization hoped that the project would be soon implemented to quickly help children with eye diseases in Dong Nai Province.
